Mission RCMP are warning the public about an Abbotsford man who they allege engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse with women without disclosing that he’s HIV-positive.
According to police, after receiving a report about the man and beginning an investigation, a number of victims were identified, prompting investigators to alert the public.
Of those, 22 told researchers they suspected they were infected by men they met online.

When a person tests positive for syphilis in Massachusetts, the case is reported to the state public health department, which reports it to the CDC without identifying the person.
